Artist Biography:
Charles Edward Brittan senior (1837 - 1888).
A landscape artist and father of the landscape artist of the same name. He lived at Truro in Cornwall and exhibited a picture at the Royal Society of British Artists in 1858 entitled ‘The Antler’d Monarch of the Waste’. It was sold for £10. 10s.
