Artist Biography:
Mabel Amber Kingwell
Lived in a isolated rural location at a country house called Whetcombe, near North Huish. This seems to have influenced her subject matter, which in the majority consists of rural landscapes with cattle and ponies.
She exhibited between 194 and 1923 at the RA and the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool. A later address is suggested at Plymouth in 1923.
