L. Mortimer (fl. 1900-1930)
His name was Lewis Mortimer Watts and he painted under the name of Lewis Mortimer or L. Mortimer - A painter of landscapes and coastal scenes in watercolour.

He worked mainly in Devon, Cornwall and Dorset. Most common subjects are Cornish Harbour scenes. He had a studio in Polperro for a number of years. Also signed on one occasion as Lewis Watts.
His style somewhat similar to that of the Devon artist W. H. Sweet.
