Artist Biography:
William Shepherd fl. 1920 -30 A watercolour painter of the West country fishing
fleets, especially Brixham and Plymouth. He commissioned the building of a
boat to facilitate his painting of the fishing boats at sea. His work is always
signed and usually dated and annotated.
