Artist's Biography:
Bertram Morrish fl. c.1900
A watercolour painter of landscapes and especially moorland scenes. He was the eldest son of the Chagford artist William Morrish (1844-1917) and his style shows the influence of his father's work. He was a prolific artist and many of the subjects were views of Devon and specifically Dartmoor.
