Artist Biography:
Arthur Suker (B. 1857). Born in Cheshire, the brother of F.C. Neweombe and first cousin of W. Crane, he studied for about two years at the Birkenhead School of Art and painted landscapes and coastal scenes in oil and watercolour. He lived in Liverpool in 1883, Merton, Surrey in 1886, Lands End in 1890, Teignmouth in 1895 and Brixham in 1901.
