Thomas Dingle Jnr (fl. 1864 - 1888)
The son of Thomas Dingle Snr who was also a landscape artist, he often painted his scenes with sheep and cattle in them. He initially lived at 6, Pentyre Terrace, Lipson, Plymouth and in 1881 he moved to 23 Westwell Street, Plymouth. Then in 1888 he finally moved to Newton Ferrers. His pictures have a somewhat romantic feel to them, exentuated by the use of gentle colouring and the regular inclusion of children and animals in the composition. Exhibited 7 @ RBA, 5 @ SS.
